Anyone who was at the game Saturday night 5/12/01 would remember the guy in this pic! Brandon was amazing!!! That had to be some of the best relief pitching I have ever seen! He came into the game with 2 runners on base left by Derek Andersen, allowed one more and that was it folks! He sat them down as fast as they got up to bat! Brandon you rock! You are by far my fave on the field!
New Stats
Brandon is doing well in Bakersfield! In an email I got from his dad dated 6/13/01 he told me Brandons ERA is now 1.50, thats great! Brandons first appearance with the Blaze was the friday after his transfer. Brandon gave up a homerun to the first batter he faced but then struck out the next four! I have listened to 2 of the games over the net in which Brandon has pitched scoreless innings. Brandon should have been a pitcher all along! However when he was in Charleston he told me that he didnt like pitching as much, because he didnt get to play every night!
